Program Description
The Commercial Driver’s License Class B program is your first step toward a career driving commercial vehicles. This primarily includes straight trucks though at the conclusion of the course students can pursue endorsements that would allow operation of snowplows, tankers, buses and more. We train you to drive a 10 speed standard transmission so you will not have an automatic restriction on your CDL.
Students will learn pre-trip inspection, diagnosing and reporting malfunctions, handling cargo, safe operating procedures, and vehicle systems among the many topics covered. The course consists of instruction including classroom, lab and on-road driving. This class is designed to be convenient for working adults. There is great demand for licensed commercial drivers and your earnings potential is high.
