About Ryan, Program Instructor:

Ryan Scutt is a Bennington-based filmmaker, producer, and founder of Drone & Video Services (formerly known as Scuttle Productions), specializing in aerial cinematography, advertising and marketing, video production and editing, and digitization of obsolete media formats. With over two decades of experience, Ryan has worked on national television productions including Building Wild (Nat Geo), Dr. Phil (CBS), Utopia (FOX), The Doctors (CBS), Offbeat Retreats (FYI) and more. His documentaries and independent productions have earned awards from the Adirondack Film Festival, Nor’easter Video Awards, Southern Shorts Festival, LaCie Collective International Documentary Competition, Freedom and Unity TV Film Festival and more.

When not teaching, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife, Rory, and their dogs, Pepper and Raphael, as well as cooking, growing insanely hot chili peppers and jumping out of airplanes for fun.
