Amanda Wagner
Law Enforcement Instructor

I am the Law Enforcement Instructor at Southwest Tech, where I teach three courses for students in grades 9–12. My classes focus on the fundamentals of policing, courts, and corrections, providing students with a strong introduction to the criminal justice system. Through a partnership with the Community College of Vermont (CCV), I also offer students the opportunity to earn college credits through dual enrollment.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from SUNY Oneonta in New York. Since joining Southwest Tech in 2022, I’ve worked to create a hands-on, engaging classroom environment that helps students build confidence, professionalism, and career readiness. I’m passionate about helping students develop the skills and mindset they need to succeed in both education and life.
